When your baby's born,
Your life will never be the same.
Priorities won't be torn.
Number one now has a name.
Right away you'd give your life
To stop them feeling pain
Like a glow shared with your wife,
The special bond you gain.
I'm not saying it's a piece of cake,
When he just won't go to sleep.
But it's the easiest of rough to take
For the benefits you reap.
To say a glow is slightly wrong
For such indescribable joy.
An emotion so strong that I nearly fainted,
The first time I saw my wee boy.
